For a while this summer, I wondered if my lawn was going to survive. It was so hot and dry that most lawns went dormant. I watered a few times, but it was almost impossible to keep up. But since the rains came in September, most lawns now look pretty good.

Oak Lawn couple bound during home invasion (ABC 7 Chicago)
October 15, 2005 - A couple in Oak Lawn was the victim of a violent home invasion early Saturday morning. Two men burst in a home at 4645 West 97th Place tying up the homeowners.
