Drought isn't only reason for lawn woes (Herald & Review)
For a while this summer, I wondered if my lawn was going to survive. It was so hot and dry that most lawns went dormant. I watered a few times, but it was almost impossible to keep up. But since the rains came in September, most lawns now look pretty good.

Woman files lawsuit against Oak Lawn Petco (ABC 7 Chicago)
October 18, 2005 (CHICAGO) - A woman has filed a lawsuit against Petco claiming the chain's Oak Lawn store gave her a cat she says suffered from leukemia, mites and ringworm.

Turn off your lawn sprinklers. Enough rain will fall in the Phoenix area through the day today that supplemental watering may not be needed in the next day or two.
